As of today I have been in the Air Force two whole years. I don't remember where any of this time has gone. I never ceases to amaze me how fast time passes when you're not paying attention, or in my case just trying to survive from one day to the next. I have 4 more years left in my obligation, 1 more year until I can cross-train, 8 months until I PCS (permanent Change of Station) to my next base, 5 months till I come home and show off the husband I acquired, 12 days until my Mom's Birthday, 15 hours till my weekend starts and 7 hours till I need to be at work. Just take it one day at a time. On a different note, it was snowing a little bit ago. This will be the 2nd snow we've gotten this year, and it's not even really a snow, it's more of a light dusting of fluffy flakes. I did get to build a snowman this year so I am happy. Oh let me tell you my snowman story! I went to work on the one day where we actually had a couple inches and was feeling kinda down. Sgt. Newton, Mosley and I were out reloading the jets and we had to wait on ammo to show up with our stuff. So Mosley and I went out and started making snow angels. We eventually moved on to rolling the balls for a snowman and then the cops showed up. I thought he was gonna tell us to quit it cause technically we aren't supposed to build snowmen on the flightline... anyhoo, he just stood there for a minute until I asked him where he was from. He said Florida, and I laughed and said so this is your first snow huh? He nodded and we invited him to help us by rolling the head for our snowman. He did, and we managed to put it together without anyone saying anything. I used dirty snow for the snowman's face,(no rocks allowed)and then we learned the cop had a large orange cone in the back of his truck. Sooo we used the cone as a giant hat for our snowman, and then we had to leave. Needless to say this cheered me up quite a bit for the rest of the night. Later on we drove by the cop again and he had something in the back of his truck, when we went back over by the Snowman he had arms! He and another cop had gone over to the woods and acquired a couple branches for the snowman's arms! It was awesome! I told everyone I saw to go and take a gander at our snowman. I know he brought me and a few others some much needed happiness. This place needs all the morale boosts it can get. Anyhoo, that's my snowman story. Ima go take a nap before work. I hope everyone is well back there, out in the world wherever you are.

I need a hug.
