So we took a tour of Winchesters maternity unit yesterday.
Nice staff and lots offered to moms but tiny rooms and almost no waiting area. So, Alex and I got talking and we decided that other than him, his parents, and Erin we will hold out on seeing visitors until I am in my own room with the baby. That way we don't take up all the waiting room seats and people will get to see Joshua and me, cuz who knows how long all this will take.
Also, we would like to not have flowers or balloons or anything in the hospital, just more for us to carry out. We appreciate all our friends and that they want to celebrate this with us but if you want to give us flowers, just drop them off at the house. That way I come home to a beautiful house with all the welcome stuff, rather than trying to pack up a car when I am already worried about bringing baby home.
So yeah, just a note for all you so you do not get upset when we mention it at the time.
