Nice day, over all. I'm still having quite some trouble to drive the manual car, as I hadn't driven anything but automatic for two years, and it feels as if I had to learn to drive all over again. *le sigh* it's quite frustrating, in all honesty. Also my little cousins are spending two nights in here, but they're, well, little, 6 and 1 and a half years old. I do hope sara won't cry all night, since tomorrow is my BIG entry exam to university, and I'll need as much sleep as I can. Wish me luck, guys.
I finished my entry for a short story contest, about mexican mob getting even with politicians. Wicked cool, I tell you; I lurve it. XD. Aaaand I wrote a drabble. 'cause I don't really like posting about my boring life in here if I'm not going to write something decent to go along with it. So:

Title: Touching You
Raiting: PG
Character: Toudou/María
Word Count: 180
Summary: Toudou had never been taught to touch.
Written for
whr_drabbles for the 23rd challenge, Minor Character and for the personal promt of Touch. Hope you like it!
Touch had always been forbidden to Toudou, his Japanese upbringing teaching him to forget the human touch everyone craves deep down, and for a time, Todou didn’t actually thought he would ever need it. Then came María, whose touch was insistent and warm; natural to someone who had grown up needing so much contact from his never there father, and who basked in it, the simple pleasure of feeling skin in a completely platonic way.
Toudou hadn’t grown used to it, though, and along with María’s half hugs and firm handshakes; his heart began to beat faster and his palms go sweaty. Quite a ridiculous thing for a respected scientist, he thought with shame when he lay in bed at nights, thinking of her; but nothing he could avoid.
Eventually, he learned to yearn for the next brush of her skin against his, became addicted to it. That was about the time the idea of salvation and hope and María got so mingled together he couldn’t think of them on their own.
It was for the best, in the end.
