The boy reveiled himself to be truly English the other day by knowing Matt Smith's the new Doctor, even if he doesn't ever watch any kind of sci-fi, lol. Speaking of, the other day I bought one of the volumes of S3, because I reckon I can't just come to England and just not buy some Who merchandise (though I did buy a mini TARDIS and Dalek in Cardiff...), and also, because it was on sale. Yay me! I now own have Human Nature/Family of Blood and Blink, yay! Now, if only it had Sound of the Drums as well, it'd be all of my favorite S3 episodes together!
I'm starting to pack already, which makes for an awfully depressing business, really. It doesn't help that my brother comments on my angsty, heartbroken facebook status (I know, I know, it's so adolescent of me) with '5 days and I'll see you!! :DDD' WAY TO MISS THE POINT. While I do want to see my family, and I do miss them quite a bit, seeing them means leaving, which is the last thing I want to do right now. SIGH. Anyway, my mom and brother are coming up here on Saturday, and then we leave together on Monday towards Amsterdam. My dad's joining us a week later, I think.
In all honesty, I sort of just want to go home if I have to leave, 'cause I know I just won't be in the right mood for traveling, and I'll miss out on everything by pining away. ACK. I JUST WANT TO GO AND HAVE TACOS AS COMFORT FOOD, OKAY.
