I saw Star Trek the other day, and it was indeed shiny and made of awesome and fun, but it wasn't nearly as brain-eating as I expecting it to be. You see, I thought it'd be this year's Iron Man, and while it was lovely, and I might read some fic about it, I don't feel compulsed to go and read/watch/know everything ever done about Trek, unlike how I wanted to know eeeeeverything about Tony Fucking Stark. SIGH. TONY. BUT YES! It was cool and had shiny effects although the plot was a bit questionable. And all of the main characters were adorable. I see the appeal of Kirk/Spock, yes, but I quite liked Spock/Uhura, really, so, OT3! 'cause it'd be interesting. And hot.

We had a flat party on sunday! It was AWESOME and we scared the shit out of Robin beforehand when we burst into his room and screamed at him and threw silly string at him while he was asleep, lol. And then we drank A LOT and played drinking games - mixing mint vodka and wine, too, 'cause we're so classy, haha, and then we played DRUNKEN CHARADES, lol, which was awesome. And probably not as funny as it seemed at the moment. One of my flatmates went a bit TOO over the top, though, and got balloons and firecrackers and party plates (CAR themed, wtf). That was a bitch to clean the next day while we were all nursing our hangovers, that's for sure. Then again, we moped the floor (!!) and now the kitchen is the cleanest it's EVER been. And then I spent most of Monday cuddling in bed with the boy as I hadn't seen in him in days. ♥

I went to a 'wine and cheese' party today, and had to say goodbye to some friends that are already about to go home. It was quite sad, as I've no idea if I'll ever see them again, and it's also a bit sad knowing that we'll never be all together again. Aw. Coming to England was still probably one of the best decisions I've ever made, though.

recs, in england - eating all your jaffa cakes, boys, movie rec
