Before christmas, my dad took my laptop to work with him so people in the design department there could install office and the adobe creative suit. Office was installed all right, but they installed CS2, which made me headdesk a lot, as I have all my documents in CS3. So I went and ~acquired~ a copy and installed it myself, easy as pie, although I know my dad will whine a bit about the dodgy ~acquiring~ process, lol. In any case, me and my beloved CS3 are reunited again! Bliss. *hugs illustrator close* I saw CS4 in several mac stores in the US, and salivated a bit. I could've bought that one, but no one has it yet, and it'll just be a bother if I go somewhere to print and the document can't be opened. So I'll probably just wait a year or so, until it's more widely used.

To celebrate, I made folder icons!! ALSKJLSDJ;JF MY LAPTOP LOOKS SO CUTE NOW.

Photo evidence! Or rather, screencaps. YOU GUYS, MY DOWNLOADS FOLDER IS A PIRATE, YESSSS.

The muffin you've all seen already, it was for a campaign in Design class, but it is cute as hell and it must be used everywhere, yes. (Tella-serenity is my comics/manga/books in .pdf folder. the name is sucktastic, and based in like, crappy anime, but it's been called that since I was fifteen, so I'm attached to it, lol.)

YES, I LIKE THE MUFFIN THAT MUCH. The pirate I just made and it's so cuuuute, omg. I wish I had a tablet, though, drawing with a mouse (and in vectors, especially) can be such a pain.

And zomg, since I love how the coconut ended up looking, here's a close up! I originally made it for a billboard in social service, along with some beach furniture and stuff, and today I just made it look less flat.

I shall continue pimping my ride, hee. If anyone wants any of those icons or something like that, I'd be happy to share or make some others, or something, it's rather fun. :D
