I'm really partial to the theory that cockroaches were once big and vicious enough to be a natural predator of humans, and the instinctive repulsion is still there, whether we want to or not. Just think about it, they're an itty bit of a thing, and yet the second we set eyes on one of those disgusting things of the devil them, the immediaty instict is to scream and run for something to kill it with.

On saturday, while I was alone in the house, I was getting a glass of water and suddenly, BAM, COCKROACH, 30 centimeters away from my BARE FEET. I screamed, ran for the broom, and attacked it viciously only for the devil's lovechild stupid thing to run UNDER THE FRIDGE. EW. So I went and sprayed the little motherfucker with my trusty raid insecticide, all while trying to keep my toes the farthest away from the fridge as possible and possibly chanting 'DIE YOU FUCKER, DIE' under my breath. I then kept watch for some ten minutes with the broom in hand to see if it would come out, but I got bored after a while.

UM.

Point being, what is it about this awful creatures that make everyone act so unrational? I mean, I know it's only a bug, and yet I scream loudly just at the sight of them. *SHUDDER*

Also, you should all check this blog, which shares pictures that FAIL. LOL. HILARIOUS, I SWEAR.

the lulz - it burns
