Potter and me: A study on fangirlism. (Also, happy birthday, LJ of mine!)

Well, in all honesty, it was its birthday on October 5th, but I totally forgot about it. Still, two years in LJ! Ah, so many good times.

Also, seven years ago to the day, I started reading Harry Potter. Ah, it's been such a ride, Harry, I wouldn't change it for the world. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

In other news, the hightlights of my day were having Pan de Muerto (Death Bread), which is my favorite favoritest kind of bread in the whole wide world. It's usually only sold on the Day of the Death, but the bakeries usually make a batch around these times to try out their recipes. I'm all up for it, really. MORE DEATH BREAD = HAPPY ALE. It's only proof of how morbid us Mexicans are the fact that our bread is shaped like BONES. LOL.

I also got two books today, one of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series and The Picture of Dorian Gray because it was getting embarassing not to have read it before. I managed to get them both in English, too, which rocked.

A question, though: Do we know for sure for how long the Doctor and Martha stayed in 1969? I have my most boring class tomorrow, and I want to at least write something.

And now I gotta go because I have State of Play to watch, yayz!
