I Finally watched (and re-watched) Dnevnoi Dozor (Day Watch). Woot, it was le awesome! I think I still like Nochnoy Dozor better, but ultimately, I think they're meant to be watched together - it certainly makes more sense that way, and the ending makes a nice, circular way of and end rather than feeling anticlimatic. The pace is a bit slower than its predecessor, but the tension's still there, and the characters continue to be well developed and nothing short of awesome. The gloom wasn't as awe worthy as it was in Nochnoy Dozor, though, which is sad ;__; But one of the last sequences is so well done that it more than makes up for it. It's been too long since I last watched Night Watch, though - I didn't remember who Svetlana was until a loooong time into the movie XD Anton continues to rock my socks. Yegor continues to creep the fuck out of me. Olga is still the coolest thing ever. I very much grieved the loss of teh kewl subtitles (you know, the ones that appeared and dissappeared randomly and bled? Those), thoguh, because omg, but those were the most awful subtitles I've ever seen ("Until we finded the muderings"? WTF???). *sigh* Still, so very good. Re-watching it made me get soooo many things I've missed, which was nice.
Anyway, my laptop's CD drive is still acting wonky - for every three minutes of steady picture, there was a minute of odd noise and slow motion which made it, God, so damn frustrating to watch.
Okay, the rest of

'Til the tide creeps in; Sirius/Harry
Bring Back Black! Harry, saviour of humanity, uses his influence to get in touch with this pretty nasty former Death Eater, a quite known necromancer. After a crash course in black magic, he announces to the magical world that he needs a time off, thank you very much, and he doesn't want to be bothered. He locks himself in a creaky, wooden little house at the edge of the ocean, the tides caressing the walls and leaving seaweed and crabs behind. Harry performs the ritual, watches in amazement as his godfather is brought back to life. Problem is; Sirius doesn't come back just quite the same as he used to be.
Is it too anticlimatic to say DUM DUM DUUUUM? What about, "tune in next week, in the same network and at the same time?"

Of Social Gatherings, Casual Lovers and Traitors; Andromeda/Bellatrix
Death Eater parties can be quite, quite fun, Bellatrix knows, as she stares across the room, watching her sister fidget in her black dress, the elbow-lenght gloves getting stained with her sweat. Later, as they pant and moan, pressed tightly together inside a closet (the party right outside the door), Andromeda will find out just how fun this parties can be as well.
I think this just popped my incest cherry. Uuuugh, I feel dirty. *rocks in corner*

About the ludicrousness of light, happiness and other vile things; Fight Club
I will smile as I watch the world fall apart. I will smile as I watch the so-called future, those nameless children, holler Happiness is an illusion, over and over again. I will smile as the world leaders call us - me - terrorists, because I know they wouldn't recognize freedom even if it gave them a lap-dance while dressed as a nurse, so why would they understand the words 'freedom fighter', in the end? I will smile and nothing more, because happiness is an illusion, after all.

Wet socks and cereal for breakfast; Doctor/Rose
Why are there socks in my cereal, Rose will say with an eyebrow raised, and the Doctor munch a couple of cheerios and say Wrong, Rose Tyler! These are wet socks, which is infinitely better, and Rose will laugh a bit, because honestly, what kind of lunatic she's living with? and then something in the TARDIS will expload and they'll end up saving a random world and maybe today they'll finally find Captain Jack again and maybe not, because Rose will wake up in her bed, her Torchwood ID just there were she left it in her nightstand after work, and she'll want to go back to bed because it's the only place she'll ever see the Doctor again.
Aww, I kinda really like this one.
