Black Ocean (HP)

By now, I'm definitely missing the outside. I haven't got out of my house for three days, and I'm sure I must be as pale as a ghost by now. Oh well, I'm relaxing, at least. I bought Constantine yesterday, and I watched it this morning and fell in love with it all over again. *sigh* I'd really love to buy the comics... And c'mon people, go and tell ( Read more... )

... oh, wow. i love this.

almost invisible crabs walking sideways on the ruins of their own shell made Atlantis

laksjdflkajsdf. that metaphor reduced me to mush for some reason. fucking beautiful.

They all think of her as Harry points to a particularly ugly Snape-shaped cloud, and they all think of this innocent game as a get well card, the trip Hermione will whisper into her ear the next week.

ow. i love luna. ♥

i don't even know what to say. this is brilliant. i love, love, love the way you convey their relationship. i get such a feeling of closeness between the three of them as i read this, the feeling that they need each other, and it's lovely and perfect and yaye.

*blushes* Thank you so much

I think their friendship is the most important thing on the book, so I always try and make them almost too comfortable with each other, for them to be family. (And yaye is a nice reaction XD)

Hehe, I loved the Altantis part too...

Really really beautiful!

he can feel all of his fears, anxieties, heartaches; drowning in the black water of the endless ocean.
Then there’s freedom, and possibly, a future.I hope they're gonna find it and don't drown with their past.

That sounds like a good idea for an altern ending or something...

Aw, I love how carefree this piece is. I think the lack of dialogue really helps set a mood of happiness and calm and friendship. The detailed descriptions of the events at the dock also focus on the importance of the mundane, how things aren't appreciated until their lost. I also like how none of them are "good drinkers." Endearing. Haha.

Glad you liked it!

About the dialogue, yes it was because all of you said. not at all 'cause I suck at dialogue. Of course not. He, importance of the mundane, I love how that sounds; and well, of course all of them would get drunk with a few drinks. It's canon and more fun, after all.

You've got the trio down, and yay for trio-gen. Just wow, can't pick out my fave so much, though the cloud game and the way it so would feel as a get well card to Luna is right up there. Also love your use of alchahol, and how you make it so natural and a kid thing, and them just laughing and whiling away the time. No real motive. Aww, so wanna read more in this verse.

Trio-gen is shaping up to become one of my favorite things ever! So glad their childish-but-not games worked for you, and thanks so much for the comment. And uh, since you said you wanted to read more... *points to header* 'Afterwards' was written with the same atmosphere.
