OMG TAKE A LOOK AT MY LAYOUT (nekare!) IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL AND I GOT IT FROM thefulcrum. I lurve it. My journal no longer looks like crap just only because I'm pants with computers. :)

First day of school... Was actually nice, go figure. It was soooo nice to get there and talk with friends and hang out, so very different than my actual first day last semester. My first peried teacher didn't show up until 8 something since no one had told her the class had been moved to 7 *eyeroll* and of course I woke up at 4 since I kept thinking I wouldn't hear the alarm. So in all, a good day, even if I'm practically in any class with the people I like the most *is le sad* (and it was misty next to the cliffs and you could see nothing but white after the precipice. Which was pretty.)

Then tragedy hit when my car didn't start at the end of the day. Why? Because I'd forgotten to turn my lights off at morning, and the battery like, died. *grieves* I called my insurance, and they said they'd be there from 60 to 90 minutes, so I just went and had some guys I barely know help me. It was real stressful, though, since I was like 'I just can't stop. Can't or I won't reach home. CAN'T.' but well, I'm home, the battery's recharged, and I just hope it won't happen again.

Still, first my poor mirror and then this - AM I JINXED, OR SOMETHING???

Empañar: Steam up, verb ('e' as in 'end', both 'a's as in 'and', ñ as in, uh, ñ Tonic syllable in 'ñar'). While the meaning is beautiful in both languages, I like it far better in Spanish, although that might have to do with the fact that phrasal verbs aren't exactly the prettiest things ever. The ñ, for some reason, makes me think of this word as something sprinkled, water-y, which fits with the meaning very well.

gramática, rl
