One small step to the dark side...
I was talking to my mom this weekend about what to get my niece and nephews for Christmas and she informed me that they really like board games. Of course they currently only play the milton-bradley crap, so as a good aunt I am got them "real" German style games that are appropriate for their age.
I got them these two games:

Never played Gulo Gulo as it's really for younger set, but I've played TransAmerica (actually have played TransEuropa more) and it's a fun quick game even for us old folks. Figured that getting the American version would be better for the kids since it would 1. be something they should be familiar with, and 2. Strengthen their geography of the US. If they really like it perhaps TransEurope will come next Christmas.
Still trying to decide if I am going to get them Apples to Apples Kid's edition too.
