perilous
So, I got a new idea for a fic. (I really ought to write something!) And I may this, since I've got a fair outline in my head. With my spin on ah.. can't call it redo, but a time-travel, I suppose, there's many variables that can be any one of various things, and I haven't pinned some of them down yet (though I did decide that it's an initially sane Harry). The problem with my post-HBP is that I'm uncertain exactly how to begin, and then a great deal of other scenes are also there, but exactly fuzzy enough to be difficult to write, plus there's one very important variable that I haven't decided on. Spin on Azkaban: rather fuzzy, not so inspired for it anyway. Remus/Tonks has an interesting concept, but would be boring to write. With my years old idea, it's just old and has one particular long half year long extremely fuzzy spot, and I don't think it's that good anyway. I really ought to have written Surrender, but I keep thinking it should be long, when spreading it out would ruin large parts of it for me. I should have written SA too, since that is meant to be fairly short, as I've decided to end it in, what's basically a, cop-out, since I don't think I want to write a long epic in that -verse (though the option is still available).
So, as the subject says, the working title for this would be Perilous, though it may not fit so well. It could sort of be called a version of adult!Harry goes back in time. Sort of, not really. I just realized that the Potters not going into hiding sort of frees up the other Mauraders to take care of Harry, which while possibly taking away the need for one potentially difficult scene, may ruin all my lovely Dursley scenes. Then there's the variable of whether Voldie still goes after the Potters, which I think I'll leave on yes. Edit: Oh, and it requires some 'Marauders-era' scenes, which I hate (even though SA would be entirely First Fall plus five months or so).
