The restaurant I applied to called me back today as promised, and I am proceeding to the next step!
They sent me the background check email and I already did it
I guess I will know soon if I really got it?
I mean, I don't have any criminal records so it should all be good, I guess
It will be my first time working at a fast food
I know it's not easy, but I will give it my best
I really need the extra cash

California has gotten more expensive, not to mention the inflation overall is really bad as well
Since my work is not keeping up with the inflation and won't give us overtime despite having staffing issues, I gotta do what I gotta do
I hope that I will have the energy to keep working 12 hours a day
