Texas Arts & Crafts Fair

Just reminding a few friends (and anyone else who likes my art, lives in/near central TX and might spot this) that I will be in Kerrville for Memorial Day Weekend. Here's the event entry on the studio website, which includes a map of where on the grounds I'll be, and will allow folks to Google Map where the fair itself is.

I'm planning to take as much of my work as I can fit in the van, although a few of my pieces may not be displayed at the booth due to space constraints and the fact that I have some nudes that might be considered too out there, since in my past experience this is a kind of conservative show. But I hope to have a binder/portfolio and anyone interested in a piece not on display can arrange to see it/buy it later. I probably will also have some lower pricing for the show than my website has- I have the prices a bit higher online so that I'm not constantly underselling places that show my work for commission, but have decided that for shows, I can probably lower the tags to cut out the rates, since they're not a constant event.

If you can make it to see me, I'd love that, folks =) And for my friends, there's a decent Asian restaurant that makes good sushi in Kerrville, or was last year, so maybe a dinner or so can be arranged. I may even be able to help with a place to stay for folks that might need help sticking around overnight if poked in e-mail or with an IM.

And now I get some lunch before getting back to work trying to get more small paintings set up to take.
