Art Walk, Night Two
Successful again in terms of fun, the day was busier at the BBAC Gallery then Friday, but the evening... less so. Very few folks wandered by after dark, though many who did were very fun to talk to and show around.
Art walk this year seemed.. very slow, very quiet. Amazingly as the sun set, even on the main two blocks that sort of centralize the town, the sidewalks were not packed with people walking shoulder to shoulder. But I do think that those who did come had a lot of fun, judging by the responses of people in the gallery whenever I said "Hope you've been enjoying Art Walk!"
In the 'crass talking about what I sold' department, several more small items found homes, though I didn't sell out by any stretch of the imagination. There are also some people who declared interest in coming by the gallery later to pick up things that caught their eye.
I didn't really explore anything much further today, although I did find two paintings surprisingly NOT by Alissandra that I absolutely want. One of them I have contacted the artist about and we're going to work out some kind of payment plan- I am unsure whether or not I will contact the other artist about the other "OMG LOVE" piece because really... I should NOT be even buying one thing much less two ^^;
But seriously I cannot say no to the one painting. Will share images once it is on a wall here. It's very very me.
