..what WAS that called, and is it on Youtube?

Ok, so a randomly typo'd "time" became "tome" in a thing I wrote up really fast. I spotted it right after posting (it was my DevArt journal) and went in to edit it, and not for the first time flashed back to something I was exposed to in parts at school.

It was, in my hazy and vague recollections, some little "READING IS GOOD AND COOL, KIDS!" series, and I'm pretty sure the title had "Tome" in it. Or "Tomes".

Beyond that, my brain says it was some kind of future dystopia/post-war type landscape and some kids either time travelled or just stumbled onto an old Book Mobile, and there was general cool things discovered from the books within and puzzles unlocked. Or something.

My brain is probably painting it as MUCH cooler than it really was. I do remember being the only person in the classroom who kinda liked it, or at least who admitted to liking it, but that of course does not mean it was 'good'.

What the heck WAS it?!

ETA:
HOLY FUCK I FOUND IT THANKS TO SIXTEEN GOOGLE ATTEMPTS AND BOING BOING!

I was the only kid I knew of in school who LIKED this series.

From the Boing Boing writer, I may have been one of very few in the country who did, as they say they disliked it despite loving books, libraries, and dystopian/apocalyptic weird future sci fi things.

Wheee.
