The mother feral cat of our Milky, who has become one of the tamer ferals, and enjoys some petting, is beginning to want to come inside.
If our hands are full or we are too busy keeping a curious Oreo from wanting to go out, she now will come darting in. So far fortunately, she sees the gathering indoor kitty crowd, and after going nose to nose with Punk, who is boldest of them, she turns and trots back out without fuss. But she seems to be developing the idea that we need a sixth indoor cat, which is like, um, NO. And also is NOT tame enough that we'd be able to pick her UP to deposit her back outside without bloodshed.
So basically we now are having to juggle cats wanting out, cats wanting IN, and everything we might be happening to carry. It's amazing we haven't tripped and broken anything yet.
Time spent amongst outdoor kitties has made me feel better at least. Yay animal therapy.
