Cat for the win.

Anxiety dreams did, of course, trouble me last night. They came multiple times, all in the flavor of "It looks like you are going to get your DREAM HOUSE and you have LOTS OF MONEY- HAHA MADE YOU THINK IT!! Now we take everything away or make you get into a huge argument with someone you love!"*

However, every time I woke up from one and was feeling horrible, I would find myself to have an Oreo-kitty snuggling in against my shoulder or arm, purring and kneading. Once or twice I got some lickings from him on the hand.

The kneading was a little sharp, admittedly, so doesn't exactly lull one to sleep so much as make one say "ow" and giggle and squirm, but this is definitely why we love our indoor kitties.

Also making it hard to sleep last night: The return of the angry skunk.

Still is a bit skunky in the house.

*My last set of dreams were not like this. Apparently my brain had anxietied itself out, because the crazy I woke up from was "WTF" but not nervewracking. Despite it involving vast amounts of centipedes.

Yes. Centipedes. Swaarms of them. I was not actively in this dream, it was basically me watching someone who I think was supposed to be Sgt. Jackrum from Monstrous Regiment direct a RTS involving an army of centipedes that had to mine iron and gold to build up their power and then wipe out all other centipede armies and claim various ruins on the desert map.

So, very very weird, but not actually frightening. And I do not know how the centipedes 'mined' the ore veins. Really, I don't.
