Ah.. mornings on AIM.
This involves a discussion of a yaoi manga. Really heavy on spoilers possibly (provided I'm actually remembering it right) so read at your own risk.

neintales: mind you, it's not terribly GOOD either, but the bar is set pretty low where Yaoi comes in

neintales: It's a very cutesy jungle tribe yaoi
KuromuTora: Jungle Tribe Yaoi? Why am I slightly disturbed by that?
neintales: I've had scanlations of it on my computer for a while
neintales: Tribe A is having famine issues.. tribe B has better territory and a mighty hunter! Tribe A has.. no really good women or something so for some reason the wussy prettyboy son of chief has to dress as woman to try and get other tribe's mighty hunter to help them!
neintales: Pretty drag queen boy falls in love, and starts to have freakout issues about lying to the mighty hunter! Mighty hunter smacks him for being silly and has known he's a guy the whole time- takes him home for sexings and gay marriage, tribes live happily together! Yay!
neintales: (hunter guy wears leopard skin loincloth/speedo, you'd think that'd itch)
neintales: Also, then you get flashback to how the two current chiefs (fathers of prettyboy and hunter man) met- and had gay love affair when THEY were young!

neintales: And if the US version contains all of the original, there's also a short (2 page) tale of 'what might've happened differently' where pretty boy is menaced by huge predator and hunter man shoves him out of the way... and gets eaten.

neintales: and thought it was hilarious
neintales: leaving pretty boy and his dad puzzled over wtf just happened. (they look cute when going 'wtf??!')
