(no subject)
been a while since I've been on here, it looks a lot different.
Things are going pretty well. Steph and I are happy for the most part, nothing moving out and finally living together with just us wouldn't cure. We are going to Germany for a week on the 11th, so that's awesome. Work is going pretty well, and my tattooing seems to be coming along pretty swimmingly (at least people tell me it is). My dad is doing really well, but my step dad not so much. He was diagnosed with type 4 melanoma a little while ago, and just had his tumor excised on wed. He gets his test results in a week, and he is in good spirits, but from what i've read the survival rate for T4 is about 18%, so we'll see. My mom is pretty fucked over it though, shes completely dependent on him.
Steph and I have both been pretty ill lately. I havent been to jiu-jitsu in several weeks, and Steph has missed at least a week of work. But we are both starting to feel a bit better. I've been painting quite a bit, and it seems like it has helped my tattooing a lot. It's much easier to paint with my tablet, but it's still difficult since i'm still learning the technique for it. It takes me longer than it would have to just use colored pencil! Anyway for those of you who are interested,

In progress shot. I din't do the heart. YOu can kinda see the shaded tribal stuff underneath the outline of the other peony. That stuff is under the colored one as well. We finished the other flower a week later.
