So, general update....
Tattooing has been good the last couple of days, havent made under $120 either night. Plus I jave done some pieces that will go into my portfolio.
I tattooed Stephs claves, just the outlines. A live gypsy girl on one side and a skeletal one on the other. They are looking at eachother across he calves. We will hopefully be coloring them soon, because I want them in my portfolio and on the website ASAP. Artwork is coming along well too, I need to buy some watercolor paper to make some paintings.
My friend Josh in San Diego has injured his shoulder, and it may end his hopes of ever fighting competitavely. He has been training for a MMA (Mixed martial arts) fight for quite some time now, and its very important to him. He needs to go get an MRI done so he can figure out how bad the injury is, and his insurance won't cover it. So I may do some paintings, and try to get some other people in on it and have an auction to raise money for him.
My shin splints have ben killing me, but I got some braces and they seem to really work well, My shins still hurt after I was done doing my run, but I wasn't limping like I usually do after a run. It did seem to put a bit more stress on my ankles and feet though.
I hope judo goes well tommorow. I got an elbow brace, so I'm going to feel a bit like robo cop what with my shin brace and my elbow brace, but it will hopefully alieviate some of the discomfort I've been feeling.
After nex payment my car will be payed off, and I can start saving some cash. Which means that hopefully soon I can get my own place. Steph talked about looking for a place together in the summer, which might be a good idea. Part of me wants to have my own place first, I'm not sure why. Maybe it's just been a while since I've had any space I could just call mine.
