Eurolife: Day 8
After spending all day on the train we have arrived in Germany. It is quite the interesting place. Arriving here in Munich is like getting hit over the head with a bucket of ice water, and im not talking about the temprature. The city of Munich is very much like London. Which is tough to come back to after being in Italy for a week. I was getting used to Ancient Rome, Rennisance Florence, and Venice, which is a city unlike any other on the planet. The lights, busy streets and tall buildings caught me off guard for some reason. Its kinda bummin me out actually. Im grateful to be able to see germany, but its a hard transition to make for a quick 36 hours in the city.
Tonight we just cruised around the city. Germans are obsessed with xmas shopping the entire month of december apparently, so there are markets in the city centres everywhere. Tomorrow we are going to see some sights then grab a train to zurich and ultimately connect to Bern where we will be for three dayz.
Tip of the Day: When the blisteringly hot train carriage is in motion, do not attempt to crack the windows, every italian in the car will take issue with this. Simply wait until a stop. Its weird.
