Yikes. Days flying by...must stop....time.
Actually, I am kinda excited to move on from London. I miss home, and backpacking through Europe is going to be amazing, but this isnt the London recap yet. That will come next week (if at all).
Last weekend I went out to the Wimbledon tennis club. I paid 15 pounds for the tour and the museum, but it was well worth it. Although Centre court was closed due to the construction of the new roof, we still saw an awful lot of behind the scenes stuff and it was a very lenghty tour. Someday I would love to come back to London just to attend a week or so of Wimbledon.
Junior Boys played the Cargo. Pretty good stuff, they surprised me with live drums, and more live instrumentation than I thought they would bring out.
Ben Kweller played Shepards Bush on monday. I havent seen him since he opened for death cab 4 years ago at first ave. He played a wonderful set, burning through probably 20-odd songs in his 75 min set. The trek to pick up the (free) tickets at Sony/BMG was a bit of a hassel, but im not even close to complaining. Good times.
Tomorrow my good friend Tom Butt is flying in from Spain to hang with me in London for the long weekend. It is going to be a great time. A huge thanksgiving dinner is planned by the wonderful ladies who live upstairs. Friday we are going to try to get to a musical possibly, and Saturday is another Fulham Football match. Add lots of seeing the sights inbetween all that stuff, and it is looking to be a great last weekend here in the United Kingdom.
Not going to do a cut tonight. Sorry im lazy. But I DO have a good amount of new pictures to show. See them
here!
