Ralph came to Epicenter after I told him not to.
After he got out of the hospital they put him on morphine, even though he's an adict. He showed up so fucked up. I saw him shake someone's hand when I walked to him in the parking lot, the guy came back over and handed hy uncle a twenty telling him it was too much, but Ralph said he's rich and it wasn't a problem. I'm sorry if he talked to you, that isn't the way he is. You have to trust me on that.
We went next door to IHOP, and I asked what he was on and he told me, because I am the only person he is 100% honest with. He want's his P.O. to approve me so we can actually talk or hang out legally, he was so afraid that I would be unsure if his P.O. asked me questions about him. The man raised me, he took care of me, he was the one my grade school father's day projects went to. I love him so much. He kept telling me over and over, that he always has my back, that if I ever need anything, the sky is the limit and he's always there. He told me the real story about my dad. He told me how my dad's mom used to drink warm beer and piss herself. He told me that my dad's was a family I would never be proud to be a part of.
He sat there pulling thousands of dollars out of his pockets, asking the waitress what was the biggest tip she had ever had, then asked for her number. He said Grandma has been mad at him because he's been acting weired lately. We finished dinner and he took me home. He told me to stay out of trouble and I told him to drive careful.
Dave saw his car and went out to talk to him. They talked a lot longer than I wished they had. Dave knew he was fucked up. Dave and I talked about it, and we aren't going to tell anyone.
I am supposed to go to Art Walk tommorrow with Grandma, and I'm willing to bet that she talks to me about Ralph.
