Nyssa and I went to see the Rifftrax Christmas Shorts Special in Eden Prairie last night! I lol'd quite a bit, but I would call it only ok, which is how I feel in general about Rifftrax.
Perhaps this is just revealing my deeply ingrained prejudice against anything that's not an adorable little robot, but I don't know if I like it as much with three humans instead of two robots and a dude. It's not even that the jokes are funnier, it's like, take the little robots out of the equation and you take something much bigger than just that little robot out. If you know what I mean. So, even though it had a musical short about how awesome pork is, it still was no Patrick Swayze Christmas.
We will miss you, Patrick Swayze, who is dead, and Joel, who went out to get a carton of milk one day in 1995 and was never seen again. ;_;
