I have been watching an ungodly amount of TOS lately, and I've gotten to the point where I've watched all the good ones and now am just sifting through and trying to find mildly lolzy parts of the later episodes where they had about two dollars to spend on a set and the costume budget was a placemat and a hell of a lot of tinfoil. Bones likes alcohol a lot and assumes Spock will get to like the taste if he persists, and then they can all go to the pub and drink and Spock will still be able to drive them home ( ... )

Dude, I wish I had a Vulcan bff to go bar hopping with. It would be so reassuring. I would be the world's most invincible drunk.

And lol Shatner. You know, I'm consistently quite impressed with how dedicated the entire TOS cast was to trolling each other. My favorite anecdote from Nimoy's autobiography is the one where everyone on the set of the show suddenly decided to be a dick to him and steal his bike, so when they made the movie he got a plaque for it that said "Please do not steal this >:|"

HOLY CRAP there is so much sexual tension in that last gif. I need to watch more TOS episodes to get my creative juices flowing to write Spock/McCoy fanfics. I was all about Kirk/McCoy after watching the movie but TOS episodes have made S/Mc my second-fav OTP. <3

One of my favorite things about TOS!Spock is that I am capable of shipping him with almost anything (sometimes they're not even people! Sometimes they're computers or Hortas!) because Nimoy is awesome like that, but Spock/Bones is probably one of my favorites. ♥

But yeah, if you're looking for Spock/McCoy you definitely want to watch "The Tholian Web," they fight and troll Kirk together, it is generally amazing. Plus check out these awesome outfits:

UNF. Who knew that astronaut suits could be so sexy? I will definitely check that episode out.

I also took a good look at the first gif and... I'm seriously wondering if Kelley is doing that on purpose (sexy, prolonged eye-contact.) I remember in my acting class we learned to hold certain ideas, attitudes, and beliefs that were not always conveyed in in the script but could leak through while acting. Did Kelley decide McCoy was gay? That he wanted Spock? hmmm
