1. Where did your LJ handle come from?
It's from my favorite book Catch-22, from the scene where Yossarian gets belligerent and speaks French. ("Neigedens" being the French version of "Snowden.")
2. If you could live in any book, which would it be?
Probably still Harry Potter. Lol secretly 11. (Srsfax: I was kind of hoping for a letter to come on my birthday that year. It's sad when you think that and you're 11, but especially sad when you're lolmerican and wouldn't get a Hogwarts letter anyway, jeez.)
3. What is making you happy right now?
The Super Bowl halftime show and my nice warm bed and the fact that in a fit of foresight I have finished all my French homework before it's overdue! \o/
4. What are you currently reading?
I just discovered Michael Chabon, so I just finished within the last week The Yiddish Policemen's Union and The Final Solution and hopefully by tomorrow the library will have Kavalier and Clay for me. Also yesterday I finished Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty. (Victorian lesbians fuck yeah.)
5. Do you need music to study/write?
I am awful at multitasking so usually I just use my music to shut out other sound if I'm reading/studying/writing somewhere noisy. Otherwise I don't pay attention to the music and it just wastes the battery.
6. What is a clear memory of a time when you were very ashamed of yourself?
Vague memory because I don't recall exactly what I said, but I remember being at a babysitter's as a child and saying something nasty to a girl and making her cry. I remember nothing else except we were at a bowling alley and that afterwards I felt so badly I went to hide behind the pinball machines in the arcade.
7. What is the ugliest type of currently fashionable clothing?
Ugh Uggs. Also those big billowy shirts that look like burlap sacks and completely swallow all of your curves.
8. Do you like gender politics?
Yeah, I guess. I mean, they enrage me frequently, but I like getting pissed off about them, in a way.
9. What is your favorite movie genre?
I love film noir and detective shit. Oh, and space opera.
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
Chicken wings. (I PUT THEM DOWN DURING THE HALFTIME SHOW, DON'T WORRY.)

I love my LJ layout's dark green color.

Two bits. (Me being a two-bit floozy and all.)

Bagels! I've never had a ~*~real bagel~*~, though, but I like my fake ones pretty well.

Arabic, Italian, Russian, German, and at least one Asian one (Mandarin, probably.)
15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
There's this noise my dog makes sometimes after she's eaten all her food and is jealous that I'm eating something that drives me fucking nuts. Plus then I try to put her outside and she's like "no, I'd rather just sit here and bug you, kthx."

No, I have moles. Most of them are pretty manageable-looking (I like to think anyway), but they are moles. :/

18. Where would you like your next holiday to be?
South America! Buenos Aires, or to visit my cousin who lives in Peru. Or Mexico. I went to Cuernavaca a looong time ago and I'd love to go back, it was lovely there. If we're discounting cost here, I'd also love to go to Barcelona and then go up the coast until I get to Nice. Or Marseilles so I can curse like a French sailor!
