Is it just me or did butterfingers get more soft than they were 15 years ago? Is it just me or is it weird to say, yea remember 15 years ago when...
I am feeling really old and I don't think I should. I found a grey hair a few days ago. I get around 18 year old people and feel like an old lady. I will be going to tech school in a few months and I won't be the young one this time. It is strange to think that I will be even older than this in a matter of a few short years. Really short years.
I don't know, just a thought.
So anyway. I am leaving to Wichita for a week. I am looking forward to a little time away and some extra time to work out. I have been running a lot more lately and have decided to train for a 15k that is taking place in March 2007. If I do well in that I will aim for the half marathon the following year and perhaps a full marathon after that. So that is my goal, I want to really get into this whole running thing. It is a lot enjoyable than I use to think. I think I am going to work on some weight training as well.
I wasn't going to take a class this semester because I couldn't afford it but I think I have scraped up the money for 3 credit hours. When I get back from Wichita I am going to enroll in a later start class. If I want to be realistic and take 1 maybe 2 classes a semester as I work full time...I won't enter the school of engineering for 2 more years. At that point I plan to quit working all together and go at it full steam. I guess I will have another 2 or 3 years at that point. So the good news is that it will only have taken me 5 or 6 years to complete my 4 year degree. Woo I am awesome.
Darius is turning 2 next week and he is currently begging for my attention so I must go.
