In addition to doing actual work (i.e. the stuff I'm paid for), today I've also finished
a new story and redone the layout of
my writing journal. The story isn't going to change history; it's merely a dialogue-heavy one-shot of anthropologists bonding in the Maluku Islands, but now that it's done I can get on with the other one-shot that's been awaiting my further attention since last month. For now, a pile of proofreading awaits, bringing with it the promise of horrifying phonetic spellings (ram bunk shush is the best one I've ever found), semicolon abuse and random capitalization. Wheeee!
(Also, it's Canada Day, so happy happy to my northern associates. I'll celebrate it by listening to Rush. Maybe I'll drink a Molson later.)
