It'd have to warm up to be freezing here, seriously. When I came in just now it was 16.
I had a good session today; it's nice to be back in lessons. I was definitely stiff at first, but by the end of class I was feeling pretty stable and comfortable again. My back crossovers are still there--right over left are OK, left over right are rubbish like always. I was half expecting they'd have gone away. My inside edges are shockingly good, strong and deep. Outside edges? DO NOT WANT. Mohawks are fine as long as I'm on the boards, three turns are EEEEK ABORT ABORT. But I was off the ice completely for nine months, so all things considered I don't think I'm doing badly at all. The class is big this time, and comprised of mostly people right around my age and skill level, so that's pretty good too.
I spent the early part of the day at the office. That overtime I was so missing? It's back. The plague is roaring through the office; we've probably got more than a third of our workforce out right now. My supervisor picked just the right time to go to Hawaii, I think. I'm washing my hands so much my skin is about to fall off. Yay flu season.
And when did my paid account expire? ::grumbles::
