Brutal Weather - No Kea Visit for Now
Dori and I chatted via phone yesterday, and came to a mutual conclusion. We're postponing Kealani's visit to Grammie's farm 'til the weather cooperates more.
We're having the most brutal February on record here. Face-freezing, butt-kicking cold with wind chills. Poor Kea would get frostbitten or hypothermic, going out with Grammie to do chores. And. . . ya CAN'T leave an almost-three-year-old alone in the house! Eeeeek! Can you imagine?
And. . I can't NOT go out to do chores. What a dilemma. Plus, Dori & I both agree the roads are not safe at this time.
So-o-o. We'll wait 'til better weather, and we'll BOTH have more fun.
