All I can say is 1) Here's a tissue 2) You and I are sharing a brain on this one right now and 3) never doubt that Severus was loved. He was passionately, loyally, faithfully loved by one Remus John Lupin. (or one Sirius Black if you'd prefer, m'dear) So there, JKR.

I have to re-read DH (which is now loaned out to my friend) before I can totally process what we are all supposed to take away from the Dumbledore story, but my initial reaction is very similar to yours. Heartlesspuppetmaster!Dumbledore might actually be canon now? I'm very confused.

I've always adored Severus, but I love him so much now that it feels like it's burning a hole in my heart Eep. I know. This is tough, eh? Even though I thought I was prepared for it, I wasn't. Still a mess. *big hugs*

Hey, I think they both loved him, and I'm perfectly happy with a Severus-centered threesome. Hell, if anyone deserves to be loved passionately, loyaly and faithfully by two people, it's him. ;-)

Just commenting here, because I cheered myself up immensely today by reading the not-very-recent stories Under The Influence (PWP, rather) and Stone Cold Sober. The former is Snape/Black/Lupin (which is why I thought to comment), the latter follows immediately on and is more Snack-oriented, with some other pairings in there too. Both awesome stories by Fabula Rasa :).

I'd read the first one a few months ago, but had no idea there was a sequel (er - Neha, I seem to be hijacking your comments to talk Snack...). The sequel has more angst in it, but is overall an awesome story. And the first one? Oh, teh hotness of the stoner threesome! And to do it with dialogue-only... wstfgj. There's good threesome action at the start of the other one, too. Yay! Glad to have helped :D.

I re-read fabula's Snack fics regularly, especially when I need to feel better. And when I say regularly, I mean like 2-3 times a month, if not weekly. They are the perfect mix of hotness, humor and romance. When her website went down, I went into an absolute PANIC until I managed to find all her fics and save them as docs. Whew! Consequently, I have several of her Snack fics that aren't currently online.

I love those stories. But then, I love everything fabula's written. Her Snack-fic is what turned me on to slash AND made Snack my OTP. (Well, my primary OTP...)
