OK, I am LOVING all the background on Dumbledore, and NOW I see why he was sympathetic to Severus coming back from the DEs (having made a mistake) because he made a very similar one, which OMFG ZING! WOW! Except....
Except for the fact that JKR has about convinced me that Severus really is evil, has always been working for Voldy, and that Albus' trust WAS misplaced; because Albus thought Snape would feel the same remorse Albus felt over his mistakes -- but what if Snape really didn't?
So now I'm depressed and just have this sinking feeling. Poor Severus. I really want(ed) him to be good, but now I'm preparing myself for the double worst -- evil AND dead. I'll am going to be so depressed. Sigh.
(No, don't tell me if I'm wrong or right, I don't want to know; only about 200 pages to go.)
And Lupin's still gay. That whole marriage and children thing does not convince me in the least. Yeah, he's happy right now, he's on Cloud 9 about that kid, but trust me, a few months down the line, those old cravings are gonna come back. ;-) (I'm an evil deviant. I don't care. Forcibly closeted due to sudden attack of wife and family, yeah. Straight? No way.)
