Call the cops, sug, 'cause Nivea's stolen my heart again.
I try my best to avoid being completely brand-centric. While there is, of course, the occasional brand that continues to stock the shelves of our fav drugstores with consistently high quality products, more often than not most are one hit wonders. When there is a brand I absolutely fall in love with, I tend to stalk him to the ends of the earth and back. Or at least to Target and back.
It took a while but I've finally caught on to Nivea's
"Touch of Happiness" Moisturizing Body Wash (~$4.99). Smelling more like a creamy mix of orange and french vanilla than blossoms, this lovely morning delight doesn't disappoint with an easy to foam cleansing formula leaving skin fresh for hours after. As the poufless 'gal I am, everything checked out in action with plenty of foam to spare without much effort to lather. Even after sitting in my dank, stuffy office backdrop at work for nine and a half hours, I could still faintly sniff out its delicious, fruity scent. I especially appreciated that one, quick morning shower with this bad boy left my oily/dry combo skin completely moisturized and happy without a dry patch to be found. A surprising bonus; bamboo extract was thrown into the mix (hello, anti-aging properties).
Retailing far under ten bucks, Nivea's done it again for reals. ♥ And with the $4.00 off coupon that's been making rounds in the mail (look for it in those Friday mailer bundles), combined with the $3.99 sale price at Target, I got off Scott free at the register. Who doesn't love free stuff? Specifically, good free stuff.
