or perhaps not? of course to all you size-2ers in the house, this may not seem like much, but it's huge news to me.
so, as you all know, i was on the larger side of a size 24 at this time last year. i changed my eating and since the summer '07, i went from a 24 > to a 22 > to a 20.. to an 18.. and finally to a reg. 18 (there's a world of difference when you make the leap from plus size to reg size believe it or not- it's like switching over to a new world.. XXL is not the same as 2XL as millions of women have found lol an 18pl and 18reg have totally different measurements, etc.. kinda like ladies & jr sizes.) i dropped by target today to spend my giftcard on something fun & funky.. and found the place was like a war zone! clothes, bags, etc spilled all over the place: apparently there's a gigantor sale going on this weekend but since everyone's out at white and blue whatever weekend (lame gathering of zoned out drunks), it was a free for all without all the people. i really needed some sort of summer-jean type thing since i gave away all my old stuff to plato's closet (too big).. and being the capri were on sale for 15 bucks, i went for it.
oh yeah. and guess who's a size 16 with room???
HELL YEAH BITCHES. HELL FRIGGIN YEAH. by the time i move to RI i'm gonna be a comfortable 14.. and of course, still losing. (my goal is a 8 since i have an ass no matter how you look at it.) my goals are becoming so, so clear and so, so possible. i have this burning drive to make a difference in this world.. and being a cop would make it happen. i think i was seeing stars when i ran out the dressing room (with the pants still on lol) to show charlie. it's hard to believe this is reality. i'm actually doing it... and not just doing it, but snatching the benefits of being healthy along with the weight loss (no point in losing weight if you're unhealthy or sick).
BOOT CAMP COME AUGUST!
grabbed the pants and a really cute dress i found (also a size 16!!!).. charlie bought me sparkly bracelets and a necklace to go along with my new look. i love this hot weather. i love it, love it, love it.
my apologies for my inane posts. i'm just delirious with happiness right now. & tonight for dinner? yummy fish and pasta salad (dreamfields of course ^.^)
