The thought counts more than the gift

This post on
yumeomokage (Shannen) caught my attention and I decided to grant her 8th wish. Little did I know what she actually meant. x_x (Click on the link above and scroll to comments.) Yeah, I know O_O But anyway, I decided to do this too just to be able fangirl my head off for the first few. *Shiny eyes* :D

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.) The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

-You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. Mignonmushi's Schizo Paroxysm (Gah! 4 left T-T)
2. A Moleskine product. (Actually, an organiser would be nice but I keep telling myself that I'm making one ><)
3. A hat. Preferably a fedora, tuque, beret or newsboy cap.
4. A Christmas dinner. (I haven't had one in a very long time /: )
5. Anything handmade. Cards, food, a little ornament. (It's the effort that always wows me ^^)
6. More chances to hang out with my good friends (Especially those not in my level)
7 to 10. Doesn't exist 8D

On an unrelated note, I've thought of cutting my hair. Well, my mum suggested it. I did actually cut once but it was in the same style but shorter. Still, no one noticed till I told them. *Facepalm*

I was thinking of getting Lelouch's (from Code Geass) hairstyle.

Well, actually, more specifically, this cosplayer's take on it.

8D

Or, I could get Mashiro's (from Bleach) hairstyle

Without the lime green, of course! Lol.

And yes, I realise they aren't real people. But they have nice hair ^^

So, what hairstyle should I get?
1. Lelouch's hairstyle
2. Mashiro's hairstyle
3. I can suggest better! (Comment please)
4. Just leave it. It's okay the way it is.

Vote, 'cause I'll take it pretty seriously.

P.S. My posts are getting less and less serious... D
