Organization is overrated.

Power it up, dash on over to the Play modes, kick it into "Shuffle Repeat", do a backflip into the Music Library and finish it all off with a marvelous "Play Any Track."

Perks: Hands-free - All you gotta do is enjoy it.
No need for laborous sorting and categorizing.

Downers: You don't always get what you feel like hearing. However, there's always the "Play Next Track" button. When you have a flippin huge playlist indecision is guaranteed, and I don't have time to browse through genres, artists, and albums while I'm driving anyway.

I have a large variety of music, and I would like to sort everything by genre to suit the current mood I'm in. I don't want it to shuffle through Metallica and Ayumi Hamasaki and Prodigy at the same time....

Not to mention that some albums have different bitrates with varying volumes.

"Not to mention that some albums have different bitrates with varying volumes." <-- Very valid point. I hate it when my ears start bleeding after going from a quiet track to a loud one in my car.

Anyway, I feel your pain dude.

The type of MP3 Player you purchased, Roel, has a feature that automatically equalizes the varying volumes. It's called Smart Volume under the EAX shit. It detects sudden increases in volume and changes before you get pwned in the ear.

I don't think it will do that for individual songs, plus I tried that and it sounded like crap.
