I.
I think one of the most valued things in this world is the gift of articulation.
i think so many thoughts and have no way expressing them in words.
its like the are true for one pure second, then the articulation fades away.
im sure everyone can relate to the feelings of wanting to ultimately be worth something,
or have made some sort of relevancy of existing.
i recently decided to come up with words to describe the beauty of reading.
i think it was inspired by a poster in my english class, [and this might be the reason that i
adore my english teacher as much as i do, for inspiring these kinds of thoughts] - the poster asked
"why i like reading?" and people wrote simplistic answers along the lines of "its fun." the response of high school students, not that i can say im excluded in the category.
theres so much more to reading than the obvious. theres the insight of a persons mind that can never be had in the same way; for that period of time, your in their head, your reading their thoughts and creativity. nothing more intimate. theres always the obvious alternative, movies, but you dont have the same effect of mixing the creativity of your inspired mental images with the insight of an author. i suppose it should be like any other form of expression, to have an effect on your emotions, to render you speechless for even a moment. to leave you more profound than when you started.
who doesnt want to be profound.-
im well aware a question mark should have been there, but im a firm believer in that it will have a greater impact without.
part of me believes this entire thing was written as a ploy to make you believe that im profound. because if i can make you believe that, maybe ill be more valuable than i was before.
i want to be profound. - - -
