re-hashing etymologies
I was just talking to someone about that spelling bee that was on TV a while back. Those kids were super dope spellers, it was unbelievable. I loved it when the overachiever,cocky kids were eliminated. Deana would spell the words before you could see it and she got most of them right.I was inconsistent at best, I would get a couple right,but then be so far off on others I felt like donning the dunce cap.Clearly deana is the brains of this outfit.I think I have equal levels of book smarts and street smarts.The more you gain of one type of smarts,the more the other type of smarts is supressed.So you need balance in your smarts, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.My subject is math anyways. I did do well once as a kid in a spelling bee, came in second place at St.Paul elementary, got a red ribbon and everything.
