I just got my proof copy of "A Refugee in Oz." This is a single print copy that shows exactly what the book will look like when put into production. Last chance to find typos and other bugs. I want to do one final read-through and then release that bad boy. Problem is, I've read the story through SO MANY TINES, especially lately because of the final-edits process, I actually get sleepy when I read it. I know it backwards and forwards, and I'm focusing on finding typos rather than following the story, so after about 10 pages I get drowsy.
On the bright side, I've finally found a cure for insomnia that doesn't leave me groggy in the morning.
