Remember the leg gash I mentioned earlier? The one I got at RHPS? One of my rules of thumb with regards to Rocky is that, during the show, if there's a problem, turn it into a joke and move on. So...
Today I saw posts from people who had gotten copies of DDRX, which is supposed to ship tomorrow, from Gamestops and EBGames today. What ho? I called the one in Northlake Mall and asked the clerk, Tanika, if they had them. Yes, they do. So, if I come in this evening, I can buy it? Yep. So I get off work an hour early, bus myself down there, and ask for it. They get it out of the cabinet, then, with it in hand, tell me that, oops, they won't sell it to me, it goes on sale tomorrow. WHF? Tanika told me I could buy it today! Sorry, they can't sell it yet - but I can buy a bundle (game + crappy soft pad for $30 more) now. I said no thanks, they lost a sale, I'll get it tomorrow from Best Buy. I'm not so annoyed that they wouldn't break the release date, but I am ticked that I wasted my time because of Miz Tanika's misinformation.
