Boy of Steel
I drawed a picture of Al Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. I am so not comfortable with mecha-ish things, so I had to force myself past a good-sized mental block to do this pic. It came out a little better than I expected; I thought I'd completely embarrass myself.
I did this as a DeviantArt request thing. It actually wasn't the first idea I had - the requestor is a fellow ReBoot fan, and it had occurred to me that Al somewhat resembles another ReBoot character...
I posted both to my DA gallery, and was startled to find a flurry of comments and favorites within the first two minutes. Whoa, maybe I ought to draw popular characters more often.
