Wah wah wah.

I've been feeling tired and run down this week. Today I had to fight to make myself go to work, and I think I made the wrong decision in getting out of bed. I felt like crap the whole day. Terrible sore throat, sneezing all the time, the beginning of an icky cough, and general zombiness. I'm glad I'm off work tomorrow; I'll need the extra sleep to be ready for RHPS tomorrow night.

And today I was reminded of how utterly hideous DayQuil tastes. Oh dear God. If it wasn't so effective in times of dire need I'd say it was the work of the devil's evil twin.

On the other hand, soup is the work of angels. When you're tired and cold and your throat hurts, It's so good just to heat up a can of soup. I wish I had tomato soup; that's what I crave when I'm sick. Beef veggie is not a distant second, however.

I finally wrote Keen Games, the developer of the DDR Disney Channel Mix, and asked about the 3 songs that nobody has been able to unlock. And lo and behold they answered, and we've got a dialogue going! It turns out that the final three unlock by getting an AAA in Beginner, Light, and Standard. Er, the game doesn't have letter grades, it has stars. Oh, OK, that was changed right before release - the grade I need is "Awesome." That's not a full Perfect combo, which I've gotten on every level, but full Marvelous, which is fuggin' nigh impossible even for DDR gods. There have been hints that there is another way to unlock them, and there better be, otherwise those songs might as well not be in the game at all.

Y'know what? I'm glad the ReBoot fandom includes a high percentage of women. Spending some time on the He-Man fan art boards really makes me appreciate art and writing that isn't wall-to-wall male fantasy. Show them a poorly-proportioned picture of The Sorceress wearing crotch floss and they howl like Tex Avery's wolf, and God help if you mention that you don't find it sexy. Eesh.

It's been forever long since I pulled out the Prismacolors. I think I'll draw my beaten-up ol' Reeboks.

soup, ddr disney channel mix, art, he-man fandom, sick
