Shameless!!!

Okay, so I know that the main job description for a salesperson is to SELL whatever item it is they're supposed to sell, but SERIOUSLY, at least have a little bit of integrity?!

Like the whole time me and tomatoe18 have been LIED TO repetitively by every single L'Occitane store we set foot into in Jakarta, do they really think we're fucking idiots not know that the Cherry Blossom line really ISN'T anywhere close to being a "Limited Edition" or "Special Limited Edition" (Yeah, as if adding the word "Special" will actually make it truer? NOT REALLY.) I mean if you're out of the Cherry Blossom EDT, is it so hard to just admit yes, we're currently out but shipment should be coming in soon? But instead they claim that the line is a limited edition JUST SO THEY COULD SELL ALL THE OTHER CHERRY BLOSSOM PRODUCTS LEFT ON THE SHELVES. I know this because they did tell me to quickly buy everything else before it gets sold out FOREVER like the EDT.

Guess what, six months later, the freakin' Cherry Blossom products have been restocked and in pretty ample supply on the shelves. Liars!

Another recent L'Occitane incident involves Cherry Blossom Shimmering Lotion and Shower Gel that has been repackaged into travel sized bottles. I bought them for a birthday present this one particular week, and I shit you not, THEY WERE BEING SOLD IN A PACKAGE TOGETHER FOR Rp.195,000 (that's about 20USD?). Then I come back few weeks later because I thought, oh it would be cool to have it to myself, and lo and behold, the salespeople told me that they were no longer for sale because they were meant to be freakin' FREE GIFTS for a purchase or Rp.1,300,000 (that's about 140USD I think)!!!! I didn't even realize how unprofessional that was until few days later when it dawned upon me, WHAT IF the person I had given the birthday gift to, went to a L'Occitane store and saw that those things I gave her were now being given away as FREE FREAKIN' GIFTS!!! And said person would probably think I'm such a cheap ass, but the thing is, I REALLY PAID MONEY FOR THOSE THINGS WITHOUT KNOWING THEY WERE ACTUALLY SELLING SOMETHING NOT MEANT TO BE SOLD???

The thing that pisses me off the most was when I marched back to the store and complained about said mishap, the salesperson so easily badmouthed accused the other branches and confidently said this particular store has NEVER sold those items because they don't break the rules like the other branches.

BUDDY, YOU ARE A LYING LIAR WHO LIES BECAUSE I BOUGHT THEM IN YOUR STORE!!! And that is so unprofessional to blame and badmouth other branches like that. Seriously, if you made a mistake, why is it so hard to just fucking admit to it and APOLOGIZE? It's really that simple! Why do you have to lie through your lying teeth and make yourself sound like an even bigger lying liar who lies and does nothing else but lie???

I just had to rant about what had previously happened too, but really what really set me off JUST HAPPENED tonight at a Diane von Furstenberg boutique in Plaza Senayan. I went to browse because I was in need of a nice but not too fancy dress that works for casual and can be accessorized into being a little bit more glam too. I've bought a piece previously and I really like their cut and even though DVF is a little bit pricey, I thought that if I really find the right one, it could be really worth every penny.

So I browsed and I found one that I really liked, and asked them to get me a size 2. You know how usually when they don't have the size, the salesgirl would actually inform you that, sorry, we don't have the size, but would you like to try this xx size? Well, they didn't. So of course I assumed they got me a size 2 waiting in the dressing room, and so I tried it on and didn't even look at the size anymore, and it did feel a little loose especially around the torso area, but since it was a wraparound dress, I guess you really can't tell if the waist was too loose? Because you basically wrap it around and tie the straps according to your body size, right? So I got out, and said to the salesgirls that the top was a little loose and my boobs would be hanging out, and again, NEITHER OF THE TWO SALESGIRLS mentioned that, oh yeah, maybe they're a little loose because it WASN'T a size 2 because we're out of size 2 and we're now trying to trick you into buying a dress that isn't really your size!!! Instead, they just innocently say that they can attach a snap button that won't be visible from the outside so that I could button it up and my boobs and bra wouldn't be hanging out for the world to see! OMG LIARS!

Fortunately though, I have this habit of checking every inch of an item before I make payment and that's when I saw it was freakin' SIZE 6, that's 2 SIZES LARGER than what I normally wear!!! And I was like, WTF is this??? I asked for a size 2 and you gave me a size 6 and why did you not mention this? And they were like, oh but they fit JUST FINE on you, and oh btw yeah we don't have any other sizes left! Of course I ended up not buying the dress, and not because I'm adamant for not being a size 6, because the dress actually fit quite nicely on me except for the torso part, BUT FOR A DVF PRICE, I WOULD LIKE TO BE COMPLETELY SURE THAT SIZE 4 OR SIZE 2 WOULDN'T LOOK BETTER ON ME BEFORE I PURCHASE THAT LAST PIECE SIZE 6!!!

And it just fucking pisses me off the way they did that! It was obviously sneaky, dishonest and a little tad bitchy, because when I was started having 2nd thoughts after seeing the size and asked if they have a smaller size, the salesgirl asked me, oh you mean you would like to try on a size 8? LIKE WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? Are you so stupid that you don't even know that the number 8 comes AFTER the number 6? I really hate it when salespeople act like they have a right to be a bitch to customers, like WAKE UP AND SMELL THE SEWERS DEAR, JUST BECAUSE YOU WORK IN AN UPSCALE BRAND BOUTIQUE DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE GOD. And honest to God, I really wasn't being in denial for fitting into a size 6, (because few hours before that I just bought a size 0 skirt in Ted Baker so yeah I realize size standards can be different in each clothing brand) but I really wanna be sure that smaller sizes don't fit me before I splurge Rp.3,840,000 (400USD+) for a freakin' dress that doesn't say my usual size!!!!!!!!!!

They're all fucking lying liars who lieeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! SHAMELESS!!!!

indonesia sucks, wtf, rant
