I swear, if my dad doesn't get batteries for the cordless mouse tomorrow, I'm going to give him some serious noogies.
Allergy sinus headache from HELL yesterday. I hate mimosa. If every mimosa tree on the planet suddenly spontaneously combusted, it wouldn't bother me one iota. Went to bed early (10 p.m.), flipped and flopped for an hour, finally slept. Woke up at 1:30 a.m. and proceeded to lie there, tossing and turning, wide awake, until nearly 5:00 a.m. Faaabulous!
So, been doing some packing. Ok, let me rephrase that. Aubra's been doing some packing for me. *cough* Today, though, I boxed up my books. Aubra loaded up several plastic totes and took those to the house tonight. In the morning, I'll go over and unpack my books so I can reuse the totes to pack more stuff. The only things remaining here at my dad's that absolutely must be moved by the time the kids get home on the 18th are my bed, which Evan will be using, and my chest of drawers. Everything else can be moved over there a little at a time. My sofa & chair, Sara's desk, my writing desk, the end tables & coffee table, things like that.
Got my hair cut yesterday. It's back to being short and spiky! Yay!
Oh, and I have to go to the florist's shop tomorrow and see about ordering a nosegay. I'm leaning towards violets and a few daisies. *shrug* We'll see!
