Soooo... let's see, what's happened lately?
One of the chicks severed the tip of his toe and I had to finish removing it. That was interesting, to say the least. And, yes, he's healing nicely and doing fine. :)
Umm, Aubra and I have come up with a tentative list of people we want to send wedding invitations to. We know some won't be able to come because you live on the other side of the planet, but we want you to have one anyway. Because we love you and wish you *could* be with us on that day.
We've narrowed down our invitation font choices to five! Haha!
I've been going through my medieval recipes and notes and also directed Aubra to
A Boke of Gode Cookery, a website I love. I've printed off a stack of recipes to go with the ones I already have. We'll be looking at those together over the weekend and, we hope, will come up with some menu choices. I want my Aunt Kay to cater it. She's literally a pro and has catered many a wedding reception. Therefore, I need a menu plan to go over with her or she won't be able to give me a price. I want the wedding cake to be like a medieval subtlety, or "soteltie". And we're going to cut it with a sword! Yes, seriously! :D
Evan got his second disciplinary write-up at school - using profanity in Math class. *sigh* But, on a good note, he's doing better with his chore duties here at home. Sara, too! Sara is going to be taking all advanced Honors classes next year. Yay! And Evan signed up for Yearbook, which requires the teacher's approval. I really hope he's given the opportunity to try this.
Ok, time to throw a load of laundry in the washer and pick up some clutter around the living room. My clutter anyway. There's some Sara and Dad clutter, too, but I'm not messing with that. Lol!
