Comfort-Baking and Present-Fic
It's been a thoroughly cold, grey, drizzly, wear-your-favorite-over-large-sweater kind of week - baking weather, in my book. And baking in the fall must involve cinnamon whenever possible. Because cinnamon is the coziest spice evar. Which leads me to ask: do any of you have favorite fall recipes to recommend? Breads and desserts are my vice (especially when they do involve cinnamon - or chocolate. Or cinnamon AND chocolate.), but anything goes. Sometimes I just enjoy the talking-about-baking process itself. (And I know I can't be alone! There's something comfy just in reading yummy recipes, and contemplating how much fun it would be to make it and Eat It All).
So what are you favorite fall/Thanksgiving/winter/any-ol'-excuse-will-do kind of recipes? Tell me about the most sinfully nommy things you make - pretty please, with oodles of sugar and ginger and allspice on top? ;D
