Yet Another Hobby I really don't need (but really want)
I've dabbled around with fan vids for a while (because, clearly, I don't spend enough time on fandom as it is). And a while back I made something for a AU fic I've been writing. (For...years, actually.)
I've probably talked about it before--because it's totally my favorite brain child. :D it's a long-term undercover/cyber-punk story for NCIS, that eventually has come to include White Collar, and in which I have recently made plans to also include Mike and Harvey from Suits in, in a minor role. Basically, it's become my own personal sandbox, where I bring my favorite crime-show fandoms and give them particularly angsty pasts--and make them wear fedoras, trenchcoats, and use cool sci-fi technology. (And where I also give Gibbs the opportunity to pretend he's a crime lord. And Peter, to be Neal's body-guard. And Neal, to be a high-class smuggler. Rawr.)
Anyway. I made a vid for a prologue fic that centers around Tony (after he's, essentially, defected to the US--but is highly suspicious, as the son of a crime lord). And I'm fairly happy with it, so I thought I'd share:
The next vid I really want to make is one from this song, for Neal Caffrey. But I'm waffling back on forth on whether or not to splurge and buy some nicer video editing software, or just stick with my free version. :P
(Yeah. I need this side-addiction of vidding like I need a hole in my head. Ugh.)
