so i figure its about time for a rant, here is one reason why i really cannot stand civilians sometimes...
you sit at home and bitch about money, about who has better things, bitch about not having things other people have,or getting the wrong order at mcdonalds, etc...nothing is ever enough for you. while far away some kid is losing or risking their lives so you can sit at home in a free world that you take so selfishly. do you ever think about the young boys and girls who are getting permantly disformed or even killed?? their lives will never be the same but they GLADLY gave them up so you can sit home and bitch about your freedoms and your stupidity. as far as i can see civilians don't have crap on me because i'm doing something they never will and will never experience anything like it. i feel bad for them because you cannot know what a great country you have untill you learn about the people that lost their lives for it. it's not distant old people, it's people your age from your town, kids you went to school with who are getting blown apart by grenades and losing everything for you selfish self centered civilians. i can't complain too much because i never realized how lucky i was till I joined the marine corps. bu i can say i truely AM proud to be an American and help defend this country of ours because we are truely blessed and if you can't see that I really think you deserve to be shot. and yes, i know everyone is not like that but once in a while just take some time out to think about these kids, and if you see one on the street PLEASE thank them for what they are doing and shake their hand. it means a lot to know we are thought of.
so this goes out to all the marines, soldiers, saliors, and airmen who are losing their lives and fighting for the United States and all the civilians that can easily push this fact to the back of their minds.
